What Should I Wear to My Appointment?

Whatever you are comfortable wearing on the day of your appointment is fine. For most treatments, you will be asked to remove some items of clothing and for body treatments we will provide you with disposable underwear where applicable.

 

Can I Bring My Baby or Child with Me to My Appointment?

Unfortunately, we are unable to permit this for health and safety reasons, nor are we able to care for children whilst treatments are taking place.

Should I Arrive Before My Appointment Time?

Please arrive at the scheduled time to allow us to clean and vent the studio sufficiently. We will send your consultation forms to you via email from Faces Consent to complete before your treatment.

 

I have a Medical Condition/Allergy; Can I Still have a Treatment?

It is always advisable to mention any medical conditions or allergies when scheduling an appointment and in full on your online consultation form, so that we can guide you on the most suitable treatments for you.

 

Can I have Treatments During Pregnancy?

Yes. Please inform us prior to any treatment being scheduled if you are pregnant, we will take extra care of you. Before scheduling certain treatments, we advise you wait until you've completed the first 12 weeks of your pregnancy. We can advise you on the most suitable treatments based on your individual needs. We use pregnancy friendly products and are trained in pregnancy massage.

Do you take card payments?

Yes, we accept all major debit and credit cards via our Square Terminal. We also accept Mysa E-gift vouchers.

Where can I park?

Please park on our driveway and come to the side gate which will be open when we are ready to welcome you into the studio. Please do not touch the gate handles and use hand sanitizer/wash hands when entering studio.

 

What is the Cancellation Policy?

We will email a pre- screening questionnaire and consultation form to you usually the day before your appointment. The email will come from Faces Info - please submit back before your appointment. 

 

-Classes - all class fees are refundable with a minimum of 12 hours written notice to hello@mysabeauty.com 

-Face to face appointments: Please remember to scan our QR code if you have the NHS track and trace app upon arrival and wash or sanitize your hands. If you are unable to attend an appointment please provide us with a minimum of 12 hours’ notice. 

-Booking fees are non-refundable but are transferable to one additional date, within 3 months of booking (unless we enter another lockdown in which case your booking fee will be held to deduct against a future treatment). 

 

If you wish to cancel the appointment entirely we will deduct £5 from the fee to cover our time, providing a minimum of 12 hours' notice has been given, the remainder will be refunded to the card you used at the time of booking. 12 hours' notice enables us to offer the appointment to someone on our cancellation list. 

If less than 12 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel (or you do not show) is given, we may retain the entire booking fee. We will look at each booking on a case by case basis as we appreciate that from time to time things do crop up. 

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel due to illness we will give you as much notice as possible- and will rebook you into the next available space to suit. The amount charged at the time of booking is a booking fee- this is not a deposit– the booking fee covers administration time prior to the treatment and occasionally we buy stock in specially. Please ensure we have your correct mobile number and email address at time of booking as we will be unable to proceed with appointments if we do not receive your Covid/consultation forms back before your appointment and we may retain the entire booking fee if this happens. It is imperative that we have these on file should we be inspected by the local authorities.

 

Bookings 

Bookings close 24 hours before the session starts, classes close 3 hours before.

After Your Visit

After your face or body treatment we advise that you:

  • Leave the oils/creams on your skin for maximum benefit for at least 2-3hours- we will also supply you with samples

  • Refrain from heat treatments (e.g. sauna, steam-room, sun bed), sunbathing and vigorous activities immediately after treatments as these may prevent full absorption of the products and may cause discomfort or unwanted reactions

  • Consult your therapist for a follow-up treatment or a programme of continued treatments

  • Replenish your system with plenty of water while restricting alcohol and caffeine intake

  • Refrain from applying make-up after facial treatments for 6-8hours

  • Continue your treatment benefits at home by using the appropriate products as prescribed by your professional therapist.

  • Full aftercare advice will be sent along with your consultation form

Students

Please arrive on time for your training and bring a visor with you. We will supply all other PPE that is required.

Please come with reasonable length nails without acrylic. Clean uniform and hair up or off your face. Please bring lunch and a pen and paper if you wish. Tablets/laptops are also fine as you will be able to access our wifi.
