TYPES OF PEELS WE TEACH:
This course is a generic peel course however our preferred brand is Cliniccare available from 4T Medical
Clinicare Glow AHA Peel – This peel is great for hyperpigmentation, age spots, and dull
tired skin. It contains a mixture of acids such as glycolic, mandelic, kojic and arbutin acid to
actively make your skin glow!
Clinicare Refresh AHA Peel – This peel works wonders for those who have fine lines, wrinkles
and helps rejuvenate the skin. It contains a mixture of glycolic, phytic and kojic acids.
Clinicare Pure BHA Peel – This peel is great for troubled and/or sensitive skin and acne-like
conditions. Containing a mixture of salicylic, lactic and glycolic acids.

Prerequisites – You must complete 1 day of home study with a small multiple choice
test before practical. We require a Level 2 Beauty or equivalent qualification.
The course is accredited by Professional Beauty Direct and IGCT. PH levels no lower than 2 and no
higher than 43% peels will be trained ensuring you can gain insurance from them.
Please check you are able to gain insurance before booking.
1 day of home study theory with a short test, followed by practical.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO PRIOR TO DERMAPLANING TRAINING?
All Students will need a MINIMUM NVQ LEVEL 2 BEAUTY. And the ICS Infection Control Course which we are offering all inclusive. Please email if you are unsure.
Please check that your insurer will cover PBD accredited courses under your individual policy.
IS THE DERMAPLANING TRAINING COURSE ACCREDITED?
Yes! Professional Beauty Direct have accredited our course and will offer insurance to students who successfully complete our courses provided they meet the pre-requisites.
HOW LONG IS THE TRAINING?
We expect all students to study for 15 hours in total. This is Including your pre-study theory and short test, 1 day of practical at our academy.
DO I NEED INSURANCE FOR DERMAPLANING?
YES, everyone and anyone in the beauty or aesthetic industry must hold full insurance
for any treatments which they provide. For all our courses we advise all students to contact their current insurance provider, to clarify they insure students in Dermaplaning.

The aim is to provide you with all the tools you will need to reduce the risk of the spread of infections
in your workplace. Currently, the focus of everyone’s attention is on COVID-19, but there are many
other nasty viruses in circulation throughout the year too, such as Seasonal Flu, Swine Flu, Bird Flu
and Norovirus; which can make vulnerable people very unwell. Up to 8,000 people die every year in
the UK from circulating strains of Seasonal Flu and many Flu victims require ventilator support in
intensive care.
Exposures to Blood Borne Viruses (BBV) is a very real risk in the Beauty & Aesthetics industry and
these viruses can not only have a significant impact on the health of the individual, but also their
partners and household members.

It has been written by Sharon Egdell BSc, RGN, a qualified infection control nurse who is currently
advising the London Ambulance Service during the Covid-19 outbreak. Sharon has worked for Public
Health England and has also trained in Aesthetics.
Therapists will understand how infections spread, how to clean, correct use of PPE and useful links to
government approved documents and guidelines.
This course is available to learners all over the world, it is self-paced with a 13 question assessment.
